WV Supply is looking for a Credit/Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team in Huntington. This role works directly with customers, manages credit accounts, and helps create practical repayment solutions that protect the business while preserving strong relationships.
The right candidate can be firm and friendly at the same time, stay organized across account details, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers. This is a full-time, onsite position for someone who brings confidence, follow-through, and accountability to work that matters.
- Work directly with customers on credit and collections matters in a professional, respectful manner.
- Review account information, follow up on past-due balances, and support practical repayment solutions.
- Coordinate closely with Accounting colleagues to keep information accurate, current, and moving in the right direction.
- Use sound judgment, persistence, and clear communication when handling sensitive account conversations.
- At least two years of experience in credit, collections, accounting, or a closely related role.
- Comfort having direct conversations while balancing professionalism and customer service.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Comfort using common office tools such as Excel and Outlook.
